Infant Playgroups are classes where caregivers and babies play together while enhancing infant development and the adult/child relationship.

Growing Together

Age/Developmental Level: 12-24 months

Growing Together is a developmental playgroup that uses play to provide the necessary stimuli for the confidently walking 12-24 month old. During the five-week course, caregivers will engage in games, rhymes, and songs that encourage memory development. They will participate in activities which aid in developing brain connections needed by age three. These activities include one-step directions, as well as fine and motor skill development.

Wonder Years

Age/Developmental Level: 24 to 36 months

Mother

Wonder Years is a five-week developmental playgroup for 2- and 3-year- olds that targets the early childhood developmental areas of gross and fine motor, intellectual, language and an emphasis on social/emotional development. Sensory and craft activities, music, and stories are specifically designed to promote learning for this age group and get your child ready for pre-school..

Magic of Music and Music & More

Age/Developmental Level: Birth to Four Year Olds

These courses nurture the musical growth of children, as well as help develop language, social/emotional, and cognitive skills. During the multi-week sessions, children are exposed to many different types of music and instruments.

Little Amigos

Age/Developmental Level: 24-48 month olds

Groups3

Little Amigos is a five-week playgroup designed to expose toddlers to Spanish. If a child hears two languages regularly, his or her brain will be able to learn both and will be able to speak with the accent of a native speaker. Activities will include Spanish music, singing and dancing, colors, numbers, counting and everyday objects and conversational phrases in Spanish.

Creative Learning

This is an afternoon activity designed for 3-5 year olds that helps with all developmental areas in a creative way. We might paint, cook, sculpt, sing, do yoga, or build, but it’s always something fun and creative!

Fun Friday and Kids & Cookies

Upside!

Age/Developmental Level: Birth to Four Year Olds

Down

This weekly playgroup will provide social activities and learning experiences for children with Down Syndrome, ages 0-4. Lead by a Certified Behavior Analyst and mother of a child with Down Syndrome, Upside! focuses on the positive aspects of raising a child with Down Syndrome. New and expectant parents will have opportunities to gain support, learn about community resources, connect with other parents and celebrate milestones! Upside! gives families a sense of hope about their child’s future and a sense that challenges can be overcome with the help of family, friends and community.
